Founder and perfumer Aurélien Guichard has incorporated Black Cardamom Absolute Nepal, developed exclusively for MATIERE PREMIERE, as a guest ingredient into the original Santal Austral Eau de Parfum. Combined with a higher concentration of perfume and an even higher dose of the main natural ingredient, Organic Sandalwood Oil Australia, Black Cardamom brings a unique intensity, taking Santal Austral into spicier and more vibrant territories.

The sumptuous contents of Santal Austral Extrait can be found in a curious and delicate glass bottle with its respective name and that of the brand on the front of it. Its smooth-textured black cap is an indispensable component in its composition to avoid spills of your new product which is displayed in an elegant black box with white letters to add more seriousness to your personality.

The main objective of the Matiere Premiere brand is to make available to many a product conceived from the purest natural raw materials in the world. That is why its elaboration revolves around a natural ingredient in high doses, in addition to the company of secondary notes to create unique perfumes packaged respecting their original color.

A relatively new perfume house on the market. Its first edition was launched in 2019 while the newest was in 2022, with Aurelien Guichard being the nose behind all the creations and the only perfumer who owns his own organic Rosa Centifolia farm (Ecocert®), known as the rose with a hundred petals. This farm is located in Grasse on land recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage of humanity in 2018.

The brand's creations do not have added colorants, as its philosophy is to take advantage of what nature offers us without manipulating the raw materials in order to then enjoy truly sensual aromas.
