Alexis Dadier

Alexis Dadier is a French perfumer with over twenty years’ experience in fine fragrance. He first worked in marketing, holding a management degree and a master’s in marketing from Paris-Dauphine University and HEC, and discovered his true calling while working on perfume projects for a major couture house.

Driven by this revelation, he moved to Grasse for a three-year perfumery training programme and, after graduating, joined Mane in Paris as a fine-fragrance perfumer. He later continued his career at Symrise and IFF, signing creations for international fashion and luxury brands, before joining Robertet’s creative team in Paris in 2019 as a Senior Perfumer, with a particular focus on natural raw materials.

Dadier describes perfume as “emotional architecture”: he builds his scents the way an architect designs a building, starting with a sketch and then adding layers, details and nuances. Inspired by gardens, nature, art galleries, music and architecture, he strives to compose fragrances that tell stories and transport the wearer to specific places and moments in time—from niche creations to modern reinterpretations of iconic classics.
