Carine Certain Boin

Carine Certain Boin is a French perfumer at Givaudan, trained at the Givaudan Perfumery School and crafting fragrances for international markets for more than a decade. For her, perfume is something truly magical: an invisible medium that can spark fantasy, satisfy wanderlust and offer moments of pure pleasure to the wearer.

Her creations are built around a distinctive contrast of delicacy and strength. She loves to explore the sensuality of woods, the comforting warmth of spices and the luscious sweetness of berries, using these facets to create tension, movement and a memorable olfactory signature.

Passionate about yoga and dance, Carine often speaks of “good vibes” when describing her work. She draws inspiration from frangipani —her favourite flower, with its warm, velvety scent— from feel-good fruits like passion fruit and from childhood desserts such as apple tart and creamy pastries with vanilla, cinnamon or cardamom, which she translates into soft, gourmand nuances.

Today, as a Givaudan perfumer, she designs fragrances for brands across the globe, shaping compositions where fragility and power, emotion and refinement meet in a poetic, highly contemporary style.
