Caroline Sabas

Caroline Sabas is a French perfumer born in Cannes and raised in Grasse, the world’s perfume capital. Surrounded by jasmine, rose, honeysuckle and mimosa fields, she first trained her nose in her father’s lab, where her fascination with scent turned into a clear vocation.

She studied at ISIPCA in Versailles and completed her training at Chanel in Paris, officially becoming a perfumer. After starting her career at Fragrance Resources in New York, she joined Givaudan’s fine fragrance division in 2003, where she is now a Senior Perfumer creating scents for niche houses and major international brands.

Her style is imaginative and highly versatile, with fragrances designed to feel deeply personal and emotionally charged—true “olfactory journeys” through time and memory. Drawing inspiration from nature, music and vivid life moments, Sabas treats each formula like her own recipe, moving effortlessly from delicate to dramatic while maintaining a warm, skin-hugging signature.
