Corinne Cachen

Corinne Cachen is a French perfumer based in Paris with a long-standing career in fine fragrance. After graduating from ISIPCA in 1983, she began at Florasynth and then moved to Créations Aromatiques before joining Drom in 1994, where she has spent decades composing eau de parfum, eau de toilette and candles.

She benefited from an internship with Jean-Claude Ellena, which helped shape her refined, highly structured approach to scent. Her inspirations range from her childhood in the south of France—with vivid memories of Provence—to travels in the Caribbean and beyond, where she fell in love with warm spices, vanilla facets and sun-drenched citrus notes.

Cachen gravitates towards oriental, balsamic and vanilla notes, which she describes as cocooning, along with warm, mystical spices, musk and sparkling citrus. Her signature blends classic French elegance with contemporary boldness, resulting in harmonious yet distinctive compositions that feel enveloping, modern and immediately recognisable on the skin.
