Daniela Roche Andrier

Daniela Roche Andrier is a German perfumer born in Heidelberg in 1964, who came to fragrance through philosophy after studying at the Sorbonne in Paris.

She began her career as a trainee at Chanel in 1988, then attended the Roure Perfumery School the following year, a training ground that led to her long-standing role as a perfumer and Master Perfumer at Givaudan.

Her work is known for its poetic, vivid yet exquisitely refined style, with an unmistakable, graceful signature. In 2025 she received The Fragrance Foundation USA’s Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award, honouring her outstanding impact on contemporary perfumery
