He joined Givaudan Paris’s fine fragrance team at age 27 and has since collaborated with distinguished brands such as Comme des Garçons, Balmain, Valentino and Commodity, bringing forth a signature style that blends artistic sensitivity, musicality and olfactive precision.

Flavigny regards scent as a form of harmony: much like music, he seeks chords, counterpoints and expressive balance that resonate on an emotional level. His devotion to art and music (piano, jazz) fuels his creative process, translating rhythms and dynamics into fragrance.
