Isabelle Doyen

Isabelle Doyen is a French perfumer who spent much of her childhood in Tahiti, where tropical light, sea breeze and lush flowers shaped her early scent memories. She later returned to France to study at ISIPCA in Versailles, one of the leading perfumery schools, before starting her career as an independent fragrance creator.

After graduating, she worked alongside her teacher Monique Schlienger and, at just 26, met the founder of a renowned Parisian niche house, beginning a long-standing creative partnership that has become a landmark in contemporary perfumery. She continues to compose for this universe with the founder’s daughter while also running her own creation studio.

Celebrated for her extraordinary eye for nuance, Isabelle creates fragrances rich in texture, atmosphere and emotion, often inspired by travel memories, marine horizons and imaginary gardens. For many years she has also taught at ISIPCA, mentoring a new generation of perfumers and championing a cultured, curious approach that weaves together perfume, literature and the arts.
