Jérôme Di Marino

Jérôme Di Marino is a French new-generation perfumer, born in the French Alps in 1987 to an Italian father from Abruzzo and a mother from the Savoy region. He grew up between Haute-Savoie and Nice, with the Mont Blanc on the horizon and a naturally Mediterranean sensibility. Drawn to art yet with a scientific mind, he first studied Chemistry, then discovered ISIPCA almost by chance and graduated in 2010 after an apprenticeship at Givaudan with perfumer Nathalie Cetto.

He began his career with a two-year trainee perfumer position at Givaudan, followed by a year as an evaluator in the olfactory development team at Givenchy Parfums, where he learned to navigate between creative vision and brand identity. He then joined Takasago’s perfumer training programme, mentored by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, sharpening a highly disciplined, story-driven style with a strong focus on nuance and structure.

Today Di Marino is a fine-fragrance perfumer at Mane, composing for niche houses and international brands. Mediterranean at heart, he is inspired by light, coastal cityscapes and a carefully curated palette centred on orris, clean woods and enveloping, textured accords, crafting contemporary scents that feel sophisticated, tactile and emotionally engaging on the skin.
