Olivier Pescheux

Olivier Pescheux was a distinguished French perfumer, celebrated for his refined style and ability to navigate diverse olfactive territories. Born in Paris in 1966 and educated at ISIPCA, he began his career with Payan Bertrand in Bangkok, later contributing to Annick Goutal and Kao before joining Givaudan in 1998. His body of work spans modern and elegant compositions, with a signature approach to “sculpting” raw materials into their most expressive form.

Pescheux blended innovation with authenticity: he developed perfumes that resonated with the spirit of the time (l’air du temps), harmoniously pairing natural and synthetic elements. He was also known for his generosity as a mentor and his influence on emerging perfumers. He passed away in July 2023, leaving behind an exceptional olfactory legacy and a lasting impact on contemporary perfumery.
