Stéphane Bengana

Stéphane Bengana is a Franco-Arab perfumer who bridges French heritage and modern Middle Eastern perfumery. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and graduated from ISIPCA before working in Paris with Haarmann & Reimer and training further in Grasse at Payan Bertrand.

As a Senior Perfumer at CPL Aromas and later Director of Perfumery in Dubai, he developed a deep mastery of Arabic perfumery. Today, he collaborates with Symrise and niche houses such as Fragrance du Bois, where he created standout compositions like Minuit et Demi.

His signature style blends oriental richness with French structure: spices, warm ambers, noble woods and elegant gourmand accords. Minuit et Demi combines cardamom, coffee, caramel and tobacco, resulting in a sensual and intimate scent.
