Véronique Nyberg

Véronique Nyberg is a French perfumer born in a small village in the French Alps, where her botanist grandmother nurtured her love of plants and wild scents. Early on she realised that fragrance could connect nature, emotion and imagination, paving the way for a career in perfumery.

She initially pursued science, earning a PhD in Organic Chemistry before training at the IFF Perfumery School and moving into fine fragrance creation. This dual background—hard science and artistic curiosity—shapes a distinctive style built on contrast and balance, crafting fragrances like olfactory sculptures that feel both precise and expressive.

Since 2014 she has been Perfumer and Vice President of Fine Fragrance Creation at Mane in Paris, also leading creative direction for the fine fragrance team. Working with niche and international luxury brands, she creates scents that play with light and shadow, blending sensual energy and contemporary elegance with a clear, finely tuned sense of structure.
