Yves Cassar

Yves Cassar is a French perfumer of North African origin, who grew up surrounded by flowers and rich natural scents that shaped his olfactory memory. With a background in Chemistry and Biology, he brings a rare scientific precision to the way he constructs fragrances.

He began his career in Grasse, working hands-on with natural oils and raw materials, learning to understand quality, purity and texture from the source. That intimate knowledge of ingredients still defines his style today, marked by a deep respect for naturals and a desire for balance and clarity.

For more than three decades he has created perfumes for niche houses and major international brands, and serves as Senior Vice President Perfumer at IFF in New York. His work blends tradition and modernity, crafting fragrances that feel refined, long-lasting and quietly distinctive rather than ostentatious.
