He began his career in 1985 in Grasse at Lautier Florasynth and later advanced through firms like Créations Aromatiques and Symrise, refining his technical and creative skills. His first signed creation was Amber & Lavender for Jo Malone, and in 2008 he became the in-house perfumer for L’Artisan Parfumeur.

His signature style is rooted in the masterful use of incense, smoky woods, dark accords, and a refined chemical sensitivity that yields depth, contrast, and emotional resonance. Fragrances such as Timbuktu, Dzongkha, Nuit de Tubereuse, and Fleur de Liane illustrate his ability to blend olfactory narrative with artistic expression.
