Angeliques Sous La Pluie, a wave of emotions

If it is a sumptuous fragrance, it is Angeliques Sous La Pluie by Frédéric Malle, which was released in 2000 and belongs to the Floral olfactory family. The nose behind this captivating aroma is Jean-Claude Ellena, who has been inspired by that fleeting aroma of a bouquet of angelica collected after the rain to merge into the skin of whoever uses it.

This creation is like a chamber music arrangement. Opens with rich notes of juniper berries; pink pepper; bergamot that melt into a floral heart saturated with angelica chords to finish harmoniously on a bed of white musk and cedar wood that softens the whole to create a comforting caress.

These unmatched accords were packaged in a bottle aesthetically inspired by conceptual art and modernist design of the 20th century. A fairly simple but very captivating cylinder, which also has a black magnetic cap to properly preserve every last drop of this rich fragrance and prevent spills. Jean-Claude Ellena was born into a family of perfumers in Grasse and learned this trade at the age of 17. He traveled to several places where he learned about the most prestigious laboratories and was able to develop as an autodidact, allowing himself to be influenced by Edmond Roudnitska. He composed simple, unconcentrated formulas to reinforce the subtlety and expressiveness of his compositions, drawing inspiration mainly from everyday life.

This perfume house was founded in 2000 when its founder Frédéric Malle decided to return the ancient splendor to the art of perfumery. The idea is to guide the perfumers and give them total freedom when creating perfumes without limits of any kind. Frédéric Malle has more than 30 years of experience in this world and offers the opportunity to other perfumers to improve themselves through each creation to obtain a masterpiece with each perfume and as a result you have a range of perfumes full of different personalities and styles.
