Louise Turner

Louise Turner is a British perfumer at Givaudan since 2000, celebrated for her luminous, uplifting, and joyful olfactive signature. Born in the south of England, Turner first connected with scent through the wildflowers of her native Kent—honeysuckle and lilac. She initially studied dentistry, but during a break she took a temporary job at Quest (now part of Givaudan) and discovered her calling in perfumery.

Turner has created perfumes for brands including Roberto Cavalli, Thierry Mugler, and Maison Martin Margiela. Her creative style draws inspiration from flowers like orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria, and tuberose, and she is known for evoking not just the scent but the texture of petals and the emotion behind them. In 2025 she was appointed the house perfumer of Caron, tasked with blending tradition and innovation in its fragrance legacy. Her approach balances sensitivity and technical precision, yielding elegant, alive, and expressive perfumes.
