Ganymede, the perfume of a dream reality

For this new work, the duo has not changed, nor the creative osmosis between Marc-Antoine Barrois and Quentin Bisch, but fate is elsewhere. Creating an elegant and unexpected harmony around a tangle of mandarin, violet, always alive and before, the two fellow artists have dreamed of this new planet: Ganymede, the rock satellite of Jupiter discovered in 1610 by Galileo, which is both luminous and covered with sea salt. He acquired his name from Greek mythology: a young man, Ganymede, was kidnapped by the gods who were so captivated by his beauty that they offered him immortality.

Composed by the perfumist Quentin Bisch, Ganymede once again makes use of the suede leather notes that had made B683 a beautiful classic. This time, however, artists were emancipated from traditional codes to take us elsewhere, towards a luminous and fluid elegance. Those leather notes become softer, gaining lightness and delicacy in contact with the fragrance of the violet. The smell of mandarin brings all its vivacity and its acidic essence. The latter gives the tone and verticality of the fragrance from the first moment. However, in opposition, the ever-living is its counterpoint and elevates the perfumed harmony with its double-sided fragrance, sometimes mineral, sometimes salty. The whole composition plays with contrasts and oppositions.

The perfumes MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS are the result of the friendship between the French artist Marc-Antoine Barrois and the Perfumist Quentin Bisch. Since 2016, its creative link has led to exceptional perfumes with a unique and memorable signature. The exquisite quality of these fragrances offer a stay in skin and a remarkable trail.
