Pierre Negrin

Pierre Negrin is a French perfumer hailing from Grasse, whose childhood was shaped by visits to his grandfathers’ aroma workshops. He studied physics and chemistry and discovered his true calling through a perfumery internship. Rather than formal schooling, he trained in fragrance labs, cultivating an instinct for material and balance.

After professional experiences in Mexico and the United States, in 2008 Negrin joined Firmenich’s Fine Fragrance Center in New York. His creative voice values authenticity, favoring earthy notes and materials that feel alive. He believes fragrance should breathe with elegance, allowing even humble ingredients to resonate when well composed. His olfactory language weaves memory, roots, and poetic restraint.
