Agar Musk: Oud, Leather and Almizcle

My olfactory language is largely based on essences extracted from wood. Of these, the rarest and most solemn is Indian agar wood, also known as oud, its Arabic name.

The oud is a unique, powerful and almost magical fragrance with a great tradition in Arab culture. Its aroma evokes a sense of luxury and mystery, and has been appreciated for centuries by its exceptional quality.

Given my inclination for the culture of Al-Andalus, I decided that I should compose my own interpretation of this unique ingredient with a Western Mediterranean touch using also leather and musk.

The result is a fragrance that combines the richness and depth of the oud with the sensuality of the leather and the smoothness of the musk. It is a captivating mixture that evokes the elegance and mystery of the ancient Eastern civilizations, while paying tribute to the beauty and sophistication of the Western Mediterranean.

This unique oud interpretation is a declaration of style and refinement, perfect for those seeking a distinctive and memorable fragrance that transports them to distant lands and past times.
