At Trudon, matches are an essential part of the candle ritual. In an instant, they light the wick, surprise the shadows, make the light explode. Delicately scented, they sign the prologue to the olfactory stories of each candle. Elegant, long and slender, asleep in its illustrated box, it patiently awaits its destiny to come true. And if its case remains slightly open, it will even scent a drawer, a cupboard, a pantry while you sleep.

To get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle is melted.
To preserve the fragrance, do not burn the candle for more than 2 hours at a time for the first third of the candle and 1 hour at a time for the rest.
Do not leave burning candles unattended. Do not place in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.
If it is necessary to center the wick, gently readjust it to the correct position when the wax is still melted. Allow the candle to solidify before relighting.
If black smoke appears, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no more than 5mm long at all times.
Always protect the table or surface you are placing the candle on (with a wooden or ceramic plate, for example).
Do not burn the candle completely. Always leave at least 5mm of unmelted wax at the bottom.
Keep your candle in a dry, temperate environment, between 60 and 80° F.
The first use of your candle should occur within the first two months after receiving it.
