The Black Jade perfume from the famous house called Lubin is a fragrance that evokes the best of those sensations hidden in the skin thanks to its rich accords that form an unexpected mix of elegance. A fragrance from the Cyprus family and launched in 2011 to cause unique sensations.
A black jade flask contained the last emanations of a secret garden. Reworked by an indiscreet apprentice, its recovered recipe revealed its arcana. It is the precious memory of a queen in the rose garden of the Trianon, far from the splendor of the Court, before the storm of history broke out. Entrusted to a lady of high lineage, her faithful friend, it crossed the centuries to return to life today.
It comes in a unique and charming container that, thanks to its size, is very practical. It also conveys extreme elegance with its glass bottle and its characteristic cap that represents the most beautiful of the crafts of the time.
Pierre-François Lubin is considered the founder of modern perfumery. The famous perfumer Jean-Louis Fargeon, whose Parisian workshop was near the family home, introduced him to the art of perfumery in 1784, at the young age of 10. Little by little, the young man became the repository of the beauty recipes of the royal court of France. Fargeon, descendant of an ancient dynasty of perfumers originally from Montpellier, was Marie Antoinette's official supplier. After the first stages of the French Revolution, the queen, who had had to move with her family to the Tuileries in the autumn of 1789, received packages from her faithful perfumer through the young apprentice Lubin. The sovereign refreshed herself every day with exquisite preparations made with bergamot and orange essence. She also adored the perfume of roses, which Fargeon extracted with masterful skill, because it reminded her of the gardens of the Trianon.
