French Lover, tailored sophistication

If it is a sumptuous fragrance, it is French Lover by Frédéric Malle, which was released in 2007 and belongs to the Woody olfactory family. The nose behind this captivating aroma is the renowned perfumer Pierre Bourdon who, driven by a new vegetal animality, creates this majestic fragrance that highlights each of its facets. It corresponds to a dramatic, almost Wagnerian composition, which expresses the sophistication contained in each being.

Galbanum and spices make up the most important part of this fragrance. The demand of the angelica falls on your skin gently, which slides into a heart full of cedar and incense, while a promising base full of accords of vetiver, oak moss and white musk merge to captivate the most sophisticated noses.

These unmatched accords were packaged in a bottle aesthetically inspired by conceptual art and modernist design of the 20th century.
