Geranium Pour Monsieur, a sensual network of daring chords

If it is a sumptuous fragrance, it is French Lover by Frédéric Malle, which was released in 2009 and belongs to the Aromatic olfactory family. The nose behind this captivating aroma is the renowned perfumer Dominique Ropion who has created an extremely fresh fragrance with a quite sophisticated composition and different from the classic ones.

A tenacious freshness inhabits Géranium pour Monsieur. Its composition offers a sophisticated alternative to classic fern-type fragrances. A heart of Chinese geranium, notes of mint and anise, spices such as cloves and cinnamon, sandalwood and a large dose of white musks are the main ingredients of this new genre. Rare, warm and exotic notes, such as frankincense resinoid and styrax benzoin, bring a special sophistication to this impression of clarity and freshness.

Exotic drops of the best accords of mint, geranium and star anise to delight us and reach olfactory ecstasy with a beating heart full of the most powerful clove and exciting cinnamon. Finally, a base saturated with a surface of: musk, sandalwood, incense, styrax and benzoin.

These unmatched accords were packaged in a bottle aesthetically inspired by conceptual art and modernist design of the 20th century. A fairly simple but very captivating glass cylinder, which also has a black magnetic cap to properly preserve every last drop of this rich fragrance and prevent spills. Dominique Ropion is an adventurer in the art of perfumery. He trained at the legendary Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratory and is considered a star perfumer at IFF. His work is truly special thanks to the precision and freedom in combining new chords with ingredients that are polar opposites. A soul that lets itself be guided by his instinct but is also rigorous in the final stages of the formulation of each of his fragrances.

This perfume house was founded in 2000 when its founder Frédéric Malle decided to return the ancient splendor to the art of perfumery.
