L’Eau D’Hiver, a minimalist experience

If it is a sumptuous fragrance, it is L'Eau D'Hiver by Frédéric Malle, which was released in 2003 and belongs to the Floral olfactory family. The nose behind this captivating aroma is the renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena who has created this totally personal fragrance, clean and fresh but very warm. Always highlighting a unique minimalist style, surpassing traditional limits.

The exuberance of the bergamot in its release provides a touch of serenity and passion that joins a few crystalline drops of the most delicate accords of lily, hawthorn and heliotrope to surprise any nose connoisseur of good perfumes.

These unmatched accords were packaged in a bottle aesthetically inspired by conceptual art and modernist design of the 20th century. A fairly simple but very captivating glass cylinder, which also has a black magnetic cap to properly preserve every last drop of this rich fragrance and prevent spills. You can transport or place your new colony wherever you want thanks to its size.

Jean-Claude Ellena was born into a family of perfumers in Grasse and learned this trade at the age of 17. He traveled to several places where he learned about the most prestigious laboratories and was able to develop as an autodidact, allowing himself to be influenced by Edmond Roudnitska. He composed simple, unconcentrated formulas to reinforce the subtlety and expressiveness of his compositions, drawing inspiration mainly from everyday life.

This perfume house was founded in 2000 when its founder Frédéric Malle decided to return the ancient splendor to the art of perfumery. The idea is to guide the perfumers and give them total freedom when creating perfumes without limits of any kind. Frédéric Malle has more than 30 years of experience in this world and offers the opportunity to other perfumers to improve themselves through each creation to obtain a masterpiece with each perfume.
