If it is a sumptuous fragrance, it is Le Parfum de Therese by Frédéric Malle, which was released in 2000 and belongs to the Chypres olfactory family. The nose behind this captivating aroma is the renowned perfumer Edmond Roudnitska who has created some of the most acclaimed perfumes of the 20th century. It had never been commercialized and was a legendary secret which only the perfumer's wife, Thérèse, was allowed to use. It became a fragrance that testifies to the elegance of the time.

The distinction and exclusivity of the notes of melon and tangerine orange are dressed in elegance to highlight the purest of a heart full of sweet plum and delicate rose and a base that rescues the most lasting of its daring and determinants of leather, vetiver and cedar.

These unmatched accords were packaged in a bottle aesthetically inspired by conceptual art and modernist design of the 20th century. Edmond Roudnitska was born in Nice in 1905 and died in 1996. Self-described as a "perfumer composer", he had great influence on the art of perfumery, especially in his time, since he was considered the inventor of modern perfumery and was one of the most important noses in history. In the beginning he started as a chemist at Roure Bertrand Dupont which allowed him to develop his minimalist and natural skills. He then teams up with Serge Heftler-Louiche, founder of Parfums Christian Dior and grandfather of Frédéric Malle to create legendary perfumes.

This perfume house was founded in 2000 when its founder Frédéric Malle decided to return the ancient splendor to the art of perfumery. The idea is to guide the perfumers and give them total freedom when creating perfumes without limits of any kind. Frédéric Malle has more than 30 years of experience in this world and offers the opportunity to other perfumers to improve themselves through each creation to obtain a masterpiece with each perfume.
