The Night Perfume Splash, without a doubt the most precious perfume in the world

The Night is Dominique's first composition for Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle that speaks the language of Middle Eastern perfume. In this part of the world, “night” means much more than the cool moment in the desert; It is also the time of love and contemplation of the stars of the Milky Way. The Night is a naturally fragrant world in itself.

Unlike so-called "Oud" perfumes that contain, at best, traces of this precious raw material, The Night is based on an unprecedented proportion of Indian Oud that Dominique mixes with a generous amount Turkish rose and amber.

About the perfumer:

Dominique Ropion trained at the legendary Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratory before starting to work with Jean-Louis Sieuzac, one of the great technicians in the world of perfumery. He is currently a star perfumer at IFF.

What makes Dominique Ropion's work special is the combination of precision and freedom, and his quest to create new, harmonious chords by pairing ingredients that are polar opposites. An adventurer who lets himself be guided by instinct, he is also extremely rigorous in the final stages of formulating each of his fragrances.
