Rodrigo Flores-Roux

Rodrigo Flores-Roux is a Mexican perfumer with international acclaim, currently Senior Perfumer and Vice President of Fragrance Creation at Givaudan. Born and raised in Mexico City, he studied biology before moving to France at age 20 to attend ISIPCA, the renowned perfumery school. During his training, he interned with Jean-Claude Ellena, an experience that defined the beginning of his olfactory journey.

His style is marked by energy, complexity and sensitivity, crafting fragrances that blend citrus, floral and woody notes with emotional depth. Often inspired by his Mexican roots and his passion for flowers, his creations stand out for their authenticity and vibrant character. With both artistic vision and technical expertise, Flores-Roux has become a key figure in contemporary perfumery, admired for his creativity and for bridging tradition with modern innovation.
