Imagine January 1618, in the vast and mysterious Pacific Sea, aboard a Japanese gallon that transports a delegation of samurai teachers on a diplomatic mission to the West. As the gallon succumbs the dark ocean currents, the hull of the boat is loaded with a sumptuous treasure: fragrant tropical woods, Spanish leather, incense, black pepper and a variety of exotic spices. This burden, which encloses the intoxicating spirit of a unique journey of discovery, transforms every corner of the ship into a sanctuary of exotic and rich aromas, an experience that will never be repeated.

The fragrance opens with an explosion of black pepper of Malabar, Persian saffron, a chord of black tea and Chinese osmanthus, creating a sensual and spiced opening that captures the essence of spices and tropical woods. These initial notes offer a vibrant and captivating sensation, evoking the character of the maritime journey.

In the heart of Nanban eau de parfum, the absolute coffee, roasted hazelnut, Spanish leather, sandalwood and myrrh are intertwined to offer a rich and complex depth.
