Venice Rococo is a perfume that transports the senses to the 18th century Venice, a place of mysteries and secret encounters. Through this floral fragrance, the atmosphere of the decay is revived, its luxurious interiors and its clandestine passions. The composition unfolds with a mixture of black violet, blonded rose and chamomile, anchored in a soft, velvety base of iris and amber. Each note is an invitation to immerse yourself in a world of sensuality and opulence, evoking the delicacy of a secret encounter in a private shelter of the city.
The history of Venice Rococo transports us to September 1757, to the Venier Casino in the heart of Venice. In a hidden alley, there is a small ridotto, a secret apartment reserved for the most intimate matters. When crossing a palisandro door, the visitor is received by a room of soft pastel shades: powdered rose, pale green and white pearl. This space becomes a sensory shelter, where the walls seem to whisper stories of forbidden love. The air is impregnated with a cloud perfumed with violet, rose and iris, while the delicate stucco sizes represent sparkling clouds, floral garlands and naughty cherubims that seem to collect life under the light of the candles. The sound of a mandolin is heard far, mysteriously coming from behind a wall, its melody is mixed with the laughter and whispers of lovers, creating an intimate and intoxicating atmosphere.
The exit notes of Venice Rococo reveal a fresh and floral opening, highlighting the Roman manzanilla, the water of recycled Turkish roses (a production of Arquiste's own) and the white thorn, which provide a soft and luminous fragrance, as a first sigh of a secret love. The aldehydes, with their effervescent character, add a touch of refined elegance and air, evoking the chic and sophisticated atmosphere of the Venice of the time.
In the heart, the perfume takes a deeper and seductive direction. The powder chord of "Poudre à la Maréchale" (pear of beauty of the French nobility) evokes the soft and powdery touch of the skin, while the absolute Moroccan orange flower provides an enveloping floral sweetness. The black violet and the cumin essence are mixed to add a layer of mystery and seduction, with the violet offering a floral softness and the cumin a warm and spicy touch that evokes the sensuality of a furtive encounter.
Background notes reveal an animal and sophisticated base, where animal amber and civeta chord provide sensual warmth that intertwines with the softness of the german iris extract. The absolute French jasmine, with its floral richness, completes this elegant base, creating an enveloping and deeply seductive fragrance that remains on the skin as a whisper of a forbidden love.
Developed by the perfumed master Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Venice Rococo is an ode to luxury, intrigue and sensuality of a Venice of another time. Each chord is meticulously designed to evoke the decadent elegance of the rococó salons, the secret encounters and the timeless beauty of the city. This perfume is an invitation to enter a hidden world, where the dust of beauty, floral notes and sophistication are intertwined in a unique olfactory dance.
