Imagine May 1646 in the majestic Wuyi Mountains, Fujian. For centuries, the diligent monks have cultivated tea plants on tidy terraces, caring for their crops. In that year, the tranquility of its monastery is interrupted when Qing soldiers from the north attack. In their escape, the monks resort to an ancient technique to preserve their precious tea leaves: they smoke them on pine wood fire. This process gives rise to the lapseang souchong smoked tea. Mixed with the fresh air of the mountains and the incense of the nearby shrines, the indigo smoke captures the essence of the dramatic landscapes of the Wuyi mountains and its winding rivers.

Indigo Smoke eau de parfum begins with a vibrant opening of bergamot, mandarin oil and a chord of lapsang souchong, accompanied by the depth of the vetiver. This initial combination offers a spicy and smoked freshness that evokes the richness of smoked tea and mountainous air.

In the heart of the fragrance, the apricot chord is intertwined with casing oil, carrot seed oil and gaiac wood. These notes provide fruit softness and spice, complemented by rich and smoked wood, creating a complexity that enriches the character of fragrance.
